Facial Scars Removal with iMedical [Fractional Acne Scar Laser]

1 week after the Fractional Acne Scar Laser. 💥

If you are curiously foraging the latest and greatest of skincare and beauty products and services, I’m sure by now that you’ve heard (or at least read) about the good ol’ Fractional Co2 laser.

It’s essentially said to be the gold standard but yet also being one of the few lasers having some of the harshest downtime. Uh huh, that means you probably wouldn’t look too fantastic for those few days. It’s no doubt a 先苦后甜 laser that helps greatly in minimizing skin disorder and reparation of damage such as scarring, pigmentation and ageing, etc.

More bluntly put:

The traditional Fractional Co2 laser precisely “burns off” the damaged outer layer so that your baby smooth skin that’s beneath can resurface to the top (again). 💆🏻‍♀️

What’s Stopping Me From Traditional Fractional Co2 Laser?

For those who have been following this little space of mine (thank you! 💐), you would probably know that there was a period of time when my skin was just so bad that even I myself found it disgusting.

Even though I managed to recover within a very short timespan, I was left with many different kinds of scars.

I did consider doing the traditional Fractional Co2 Laser back then, but eventually, I opted not to do so for a plethora of reasons. One of it was probably the post-procedure hyperpigmentations in Asian skin – which undoubtedly meant getting tanner.

Whitening Supplements [IDS Lyco-White / Gluta Pancea]

Brows: Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Duo, Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, Cheeks: 3CE #Peach Crush, Lips: Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

I’m naturally tanned (as you can probably tell by now) which is a total opposite from my mum. Over the years, I’ve tried quite a number of whitening skincare products. Some of them actually do work, but I soon realised that they introduced different skin tones between my face and body. *gasp*

I’ve tried whitening body lotion too, but it doesn’t work as well. You might wonder why didn’t I use those whitening skincare products that were meant for face, on my body too?

Duh. You think I’m Jamie Chua or Datok meh? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wish I could print earn money that fast too. Not forgetting the amount of effort needed to applying on all over (bigger surface areasssss get it?). 💰🌲

Every morning I pop just a couple before my breakfast! 🍽

So I turned to supplements. 💊

The rationale was instead of applying products merely on the surface of my skin,  supplements work inside-out rather than vice-versa (if it works lah)? Moreover, it’s definitely faster and less clumsy in application as compared to external products.

I did my research by comparing the top recommended brands online and in this day and age, who could forget the “digital word-of-mouth”. I then shortlisted the candidates to these 2 brands – IDS Lyco-White (local Singapore brand) and Gluta Pancea (product of Thailand).

Experience Deep Cleansing with Origins x Sephora

Ever since I recovered from the massive outbreak, I have been extra cautious about the products I use. However, that doesn’t stop me from looking out for good products that will keep nightmares at bay or even better, improve my complexion.

That said, I got my hands on a few Origins products from Sephora Singapore a while ago added to my beauty regime – Of course, as usual, I’m working towards a much clearer skin and here I’m giving my review!

My 30-minute Lunch Time Facelift! [Hiko Nose Threads + Dermalift]

0 No tags Permalink

Hiko Nose Threadlift and Dermalift done in less than 30 minutes. ⏰

For those who have been following my blog, you would probably realize that for me, fillers doesn’t last long on my nose and cheeks. However, I wasn’t ready to go for surgical implants (aka a permanent nose job). The thought of it just scares me – especially when my two not-so-small dogs love to cuddle up with me (what if they paw’ed my nose!? 🐾😱).

But no, I didn’t give up washing for a sharper and smoother nose line… Contouring using makeup helps to create the illusion of a sharper nose but from the side view, the small bump on my nose ridge is still there.

No amount of makeup could help hide that other than Mei Tu Xiu Xiu (it’s branded by many to be the Photoshop-ish beauty app of mobile phones, some even say it’s even better than Photoshop.) #照骗😪

8 Medical Aesthetic is located in the heart of Town.

After much research about the procedure I wanted, Reene from 8 Medical Aesthetic helped me to arrange a consultation with Dr. Daniel Chang!

True to its branding of being a “Lunchtime Procedure” – you can literally get it done during your lunch break and head back to your daily operations immediately after that!

I went down to 8 Medical Aesthetic located at Cuppage Road during a weekday lunch in-between my events and meetings as the whole procedure is pretty fast (less than 30 minutes for Dermalift and HIKO Nose Threadlift) – unlike the traditional medical procedures.

It’s so fast that your friends and colleagues will wonder where you went or did that made you much prettier suddenly in just a lunch break. *flips hair* #心机美人👸🏼✨

Areas that needed to enhanced 👃🏻

Yeap! That’s Dr. Daniel Chang!

Dr. Daniel is well known for his Korean medical aesthetic and skills.

Basically anything to do with beauty and face, he is THE person to go for. I know it because I have been going to him even before I started blogging. 😉
